This Woman
By David George
I feel my heart race when she smiles
and the way it aches when she cries
how she warms my soul when I pull her close
the way she hypnotizes me with her eyes
We'll bring our hands together and lock them tight
as I softly tell her how much I care
a tear falls slowly down her face
quickly drying in the warm summer air
Standing on the tips of her toes
She reaches out to me for a kiss
Our lips come together and rekindle the flame
Overcome in a moment of uncontrollable bliss
Oh, how I would love this woman
This woman who could make me feel complete
I want to believe this woman is real
This woman I have yet to meet
Someday soon, not sure exactly when
I'll turn a corner and there she'll be
In an instant, I'll know it's her
This woman who was meant for me
