...Swallowed Up Under by Billy
|
Trapped, caught up in tangled in a web, lost searching for flight, hidden by lackluster low
radiant light. Centered, focused on an epic battle, a righteous exulting plight. Good and evil
square off a top big shoulders, fierce impressive sight, war raging past into darkening night.
Scales tipping, waxing in weight, cracked crumbling spirit tumbling frivolous the noise and
chattered. Kept up late sleepless, hours of time constant and steady moving forward even as
clocks shatter. Passing rumbled cries of a stomach's tries, my body turns in on it's pleading
cries. So hungry now, nauseas the notion sinking swallowed up under the ocean. Feeling
left numb, the strain pressured under my thumb. I've left no room to fall and fail, in a rut to a
nowhere trail, others pass by speedy hooked on a rail. Unstable steps steep with incline,
traversing peaks deep valleys the path tumultuous and only mine. See you at the end my
friend no worries of me, as good as good can and will be.
